What ChatGPT does well.
Everything that isn’t travel
It writes, codes, analyses and explains. If you want one assistant for all of that, it’s hard to beat.
Connected travel apps
Booking.com, Expedia and Viator apps can show live listings and prices inside the chat.
A first draft
For a quick itinerary or a question about a place, it does the job well.
Questions.
It can reach travel apps such as Booking.com and Expedia once they’re connected. In Skift’s hands-on test in July 2026, those apps showed live listings with booking buttons that linked out to the provider, and ChatGPT needed extra prompting to use them. This changes quickly, so try it yourself.
For an idea or a first draft, you may not need one. Mazer earns its place after that: it keeps your trip together, books inside it, watches your flights and fares, and works in your chat apps. Keep using ChatGPT for everything else.
Yes. Pro and Elite carry memory across trips, so Mazer knows your food rules, pace and past journeys on every channel you use it on.
Sources.And who wrote this.
TripMazer makes this page and makes one of the two products on it, so weigh it that way. We’re not connected to ChatGPT, and ChatGPT is a trademark of its owner. Where a fact came from a review and not from ChatGPT itself, the page says “reported”. Prices and features change quickly: check before you decide, and tell us if something here is out of date.
