What Layla does well.
People behind the AI
Reviews describe human travel experts working behind the planner on bookings and changes. That’s reassuring for an expensive trip.
Expedia behind it
Expedia Group bought Layla in July 2026, which puts one of the largest travel marketplaces behind it.
Video-led inspiration
Reviews mention destination videos on its free plan, which suits people still choosing where to go.
Questions.
Yes. Expedia Group announced the deal on 31 July 2026. It said it would combine Layla’s planning with its own supply and booking technology.
When we opened layla.ai from India on 2 November 2026, it showed a message saying it wasn’t available in our region. That can change, so try it yourself. TripMazer works in India, with prices in rupees.
No. Mazer is an AI. It can phone a hotel or airline for you on Elite, after you approve the call, but no human travel agent handles your trip. If you want a person involved, Layla may suit you better.

TripMazer makes this page and makes one of the two products on it, so weigh it that way. We’re not connected to Layla, and Layla is a trademark of its owner. Where a fact came from a review and not from Layla itself, the page says “reported”. Prices and features change quickly: check before you decide, and tell us if something here is out of date.
